I am trying to find a complete list of our rules and regs for the up coming 2010 season. mostly on what i heard about rule 111 E with the age/ weight limit for kids that dont have anything to play. |

In general there were no changes to the eligibility (age and weight) requirements from 2009.
The only change with regards to this would apply to JV division if your area had no Varsity team or FR if your area had no JV team. In this case a special allowance may be approved by area board to extend age eligibility Back to up to June 1 for up to 1 player for every 5 on the team ....no exception to weights.
Example: Are has no Varsity team but has 20 players on JV and 25 on FR. Area Board could extend eligibility date for JV players to include those still 11 back to June 1st (vs July 15) for up to 4 players provide they meet weight limits. These players must still meet 130.5 lb limit. No change is made for eligibility for FR in this case. League Executive Board must be notified at or prior to draft. Area Board is not required to do so and if they have more then 4 eligible they must be selected based upon closest to original age eligibility. |

Thank you Mr Brown. This means for the most part the copy of the rules that I got for last yr for the freshmen div will still be good for this yr, with maybe just a few slight changes that you mentioned in your corner. |

RABBIT, If you do get a copy i would love to have one also. I had one last year and can't find one now. Maybe Mr Brown can get one posted as a download or a printable copy one the website just to help out coaches and parents alike. it sure would be nice to have a complete list instead of just highlights. |
